Sam found her way into the insurance industry after unexpectedly returning to New Zealand during the pandemic. Spending two years at one of the country’s largest insurers, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact insurance can have on individuals during their most challenging moments. Having personally experienced the relief insurance brought to her family members during illness, she views insurance as a necessity.

With a goal to advise and work closely with her own clients, Sam joined the Risk Direct team in March 2023. Under the guidance of Steve, she has acquired the qualifications and experience necessary to support our clients with their insurance and KiwiSaver needs.

Managing all our claims, Sam considers this aspect of her role the most crucial. She takes pride in simplifying the claim process, offering additional support as individuals and families navigate unexpected diagnoses. Drawing from her previous experience within the insurance industry, her in-depth knowledge of claim processes proves invaluable.
